T1 wins the ‘Valorant’ Bangkok Masters Tournament after an epic final

T1 has won Brave Bangkok masters tour after defeating G2 Esports in the Great Final 3-2. The victory sees them crowned as the first major international champions of the 2025 season, and gives them some important VCT points.

Brave Masters Bangkok presented eight ball Brave Teams from all over the world competing in LAN for the first time this season. With some right changes in the game in recent weeks and season changes in the Pro scene, this was the first real look we got into the international game in 2025, and did not disappoint.

Both G2 and T1 provided excellent entertainment throughout the competition. The two lost a match on the Swiss scene, giving them tougher matches in the round of the Play -off. However, the G2 turned into a different beast after losing them, not falling a single map after losing them 2-1 to Edward Gaming to the Great Final. T1, on the other hand, lost both on the Swiss stage and in the opening round of Play -offit, but then went to an impressive low bracket run to reach the finals.

The Great Final started immediately after the new Brave Agent Waylay was discovered, who is already proving a little controversial. But as soon as the action took place to the final, it turned into business as usual, with the two teams started in the lotus. It was the G2 who received the first blood, easily winning 13-5 in what was a prevailing show to start the final.

The next things went to Haven, and that was a little more between the two sides from the outside. In half it was 6-6, but things began to withdraw in the second half, with some wild rounds that could have gone the same way. After all, it was T1 who took control of the second half and ended up winning 13-9, with G2 being deceived for the first time from the second round of matches on the Swiss stage.

In the abyss, things set out for an unexpected start. Despite being the choice of the G2 map, the T1 departed at a 6-0 start before the G2 managed to get a round on the map, but the US list managed to pull it back to 8-4 in half, avoiding the total disaster. As we arrived at the bottom of the map, both teams were neck and neck, tied to 11-11, creating a nail bite end for the three map. In the end, it was G2 who moved to the championship point with an impressive 13-11 win.

With G2 at the championship point, the teams headed to share. Despite the loss of two rounds, the G2 looked funny here, taking seven rounds in a row before the T1 could come to the table. A massive flock of aceto from Kim “Meteor” Tae-o gave T1 a chance for a comeback, with half finished 8-4 in favor of G2, and T1 kept their momentum going to the second. They equalized it until 8-8 quickly, before lying on a surprising 10-8 lead and eventually take the map over time, where they won 15-13 to force a map five.

The last map was Pearl, and after it was so close to winning the championship, G2 looked like a team defeated to start the map. T1 took a 5-1 early lead, before the G2 began to fight again, however half still ended 8-4 in favor of the Korean team. G2 managed to fight back at 9-9, setting a tense end for one of the best Brave Finals sometimes. Equal conclusion continued, with the last map of the best of the five going on over time. Eventually the map would end 16-14 in T1, giving them a difficult victory and of course, Brave Bangkok masters trophy.

Victory sees T1 get home Brave Masters Bangkok Trophy, five VCT points that should help them qualify for the champions later during the year, and the first place price of $ 250,000, which is not a bad payment. G2 gets three VCT points and $ 100,000 for the second, while Edward Gaming received the third and $ 65,000 and the team’s vitality leaves with $ 35,000 for the fourth.
